Why is there a gap on my chart on Monday?
The market is closed from Friday 17:00 to Sunday 18:00 New York time. News over the weekend moves the price, so the first Monday price can open above or below Friday’s close.
Does gold trade on US holidays?
On Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday the market is closed. On other US holidays it trades with an early close.
What is the best time to trade gold?
